kapa Haka

TUE,16,NOV/2021 

I was really Nervous to go to Kapa Haka in the morning I just weared my normal clothes, a teacher told me to get ready I got all really but I broke my yellow feather in my hair oops. I found Millie,Alivia and Dillyn I started playing with them until we had Kapa Haka. I walked in the hall and sawed lots of cameras and a sound box on top of the wire. I felt nervous when we did the first song it wasn't that bad I just keeped thinking it was just a practice. I forgot the sing name but in one of the song I forgot the words. I was scared at the poi bit because I was in 3rd row when the first two lines knee now you can see me.  When it was done I got changed at took off my thing on my chin a few days later we watched the video it was kinda funny.

Cross Country

My mum drove me to school. We walked over to the cross country the teachers said "that year 6 girls will go first" the year 6s lined up in a line "GO!" koka sue said I ran then I tripped up I got up it was a little embarrassing but I was fine. I ran again I wasn't that fast so I just ran with Dillyn and Millie. We got to the sand bit I walked that it was to hard ( for me) to run up. I ran passed Dillyn and Millie I just finished my first lap when I did Charlotte just came first.

When I was running my second lap I saw my Mum running to! I ran up to her and gave her a hug someone was crying so my Mum asked what was wrong she said she couldn't do it she walked back with her friend. I ran to the yellow poles I hated it when people were cheering me on.

Lockdown! 🏠

 7th August 2021 11.59 pm new zealand went into its 2nd lockdown into level 4.

 

The first day of lockdown was weird when I woke up I was thinking I needed to get ready for school!. Lockdown has been a bit boring but mum makes us go on a walk everyday, I saw koka pip on one of the walks,there sometimes fun. Me and my sister (Jade) has been doing alot of baking, one time we did a bake off! I think my cookies won!.

 

olympics

 The week the teacher said " are term subject is about the olympics" and we were doing a olympic book I did the japanese page and the make your own mascot and half of the questions. I am about half way done. Koka Roize said we had 3 weeks I throughed we only have 1 week . my fav olympic athlete is mark todd he does horse riding and he's 65.

So far these are the totals. new zealand has won 3 medals in total. The united states total of medals is 31.  Japan has won 22 medals in total. Great Britain has won 16 medals in total.  Germany has won 10 medals in total. Australia has won 16 medals in total. fiji has won 1 medal in total. China has won 27 medals in total. those are all the countries I can think of.

saving money!🍄🌻🫐

 on friday and thursday, a man came in telling us about money and saving it. He started to talk about jobs we can do and the 3 S's. Ivy said she paints skate boards and sell them! I want to do baking after school and earn some money. He talked more about saving, we had turns to talk with him first time we played a game on thursday we skipped kapa haka ( room 2 skipped kapa haka ) it was really fun when he came he was a little bit funny. I learned alot from him.

fast five netball🍄🌻🥥

I got to school I was nervous because today is fast five netball and we have to play all day! Alivia arrived and we went got our jacket then more and more people came.  We started playing tag ball I think it's called that? When she said it was time to go koka leah got us in are driving groups. I was with Abhays parents in there car with raphi and klara. When we got there lots of kids around are age came in there school jacket or

t shirt. I don't really remember are first team we faced I didn't play that game,but we did win it was five to 0 or 1. Are sceand team we faced was hard they looked really good and they where! I don't know the score but I do know they won. We keeped playing games like that we would go and look at the interschool playing sometimes. It was are last game and there was a girl who tripped me up but it was a good game. We went in Abhays car and started to drive to school (I got chocolate from them ) when we got to school koka leah was in her class room and handed out lollys! It was school singing koka leah told millie not to eat that lolly in the hall so i stayed and finished it. It was really fun I hope I get to do that again!

tuesday art!🌻🌴🌊🌺

When I went to school on Tuesday and I didn't see Koka Rozie or Koka Ngaire 

 It was weird to see a different teacher in the morning she told us that we where going to do art for the day I was happy about that because I love doing art and we didn't have to do writing and other stuff on are task tracker. We watched a video on how to make the art I didn't really do the same nose or eyes as the girl did in the video and I did hair! I coloured the skin gold,red,yellow,orange and pink I did blue eyes and some yellow hair with brown at the end. Tallulah wanted to do hair as well I helped her do curly hair and helped her do her t-shirt on the art.  I got some red chalk and rubbed my finger on it until my finger was red I put a line on Tallulah's forehead and said "Simba" we both started laughing it was really funny but we carried on with our art. It was looking really good. Me and Tallulah where just about finished we just needed to finish of some of our art. My hand was getting really sore and tired. it was Such a relief when we were finished, it was looking so good I was so happy with myself I hope we get to do art another time!
