                Kapa Haka Festival

I walked to school I was excited and Nervous at the same time. I got at school late. I saw Neve there, we went into our classroom. All the girls were changed into their kpka haka uniforms.  Te said you need to get your uniforms at the hall. Me and Neve went to the hall. The teacher made us go first.



 I got my moko on my face it was funny having ink on my face . I got dressed in my kapa haka uniform it was to big for me. We went on the bus we had to sit in the back it was bumpy on the ride. It was time to go on the stage I was terrified when I put my foot on the stage. We did our songs: Tu mai ra ,Harae mai a paoa, Ka pioioi, puri anei, utaina, waiuni kura haka, ka mate, wainui e and He honore. That is in order of our songs. When we were finished we got back onto the bus and had our normal old day

Rio gave me a invite to her sleepover party it said: you are invited to Rios 9th birthday party
 date: 3pm on 9th  of November

      I packed the stuff I needed then Dad said get ready we are going soon. We got to Rio's house and I saw Te Atawhai she said hi dude I just farted, she didn't really, it was just a joke. Then Rio gave me a little box with a pillow that said Amber on it and a sleeping mask it was light blue. Rio made all of us out of lego. Aliva then came and she brought a present big present, actually it was Te Atawhai who brought a big present.
Once we were all there we wanted to go to the beach. Ella pushed me in the water. My dress got water all in my dress. We got changed into our togs to go into the spa.

When we were done in the spa we watched a movie outside on a projector, I went in a  chair and watched it we watched Rio for Rio,s birthday.When the movie was done we had dinner we had pizza.We had ice cream and cake.We danced we had fireworks and lights we got to bed 3 hours later me and Aliva we stayed up to 3 am.We went to Te Atfire,s room and  put toys on her we went to bed at 4 in the morning.We wookup by Rio we had pancakes for Breakfast. It was time to go home my dad came and I said goodbye Rio i had a lovely time.(THE END)

Hi my name is Amber. I went to the marae. When I got there I saw a two horse the horses was like brown chocolate. Then koka Terry said SIT DOWN IN YOUR CLASS LINES. When we got there we had brain break. When brain break was finished we went into groups. We went to flakes. I made a flake bag. Nik made a big bag and the people who went to the flakes had to put on more flakes. Then we moved on to the next thing. It was doing hand ball.No one wanted to do hand ball with me so I did the long rop. Then we did more and more thing. Then we had morning tea. morning tea was a cookie smells like like chocolate it was  so good  and a apple. Then we got are bags and went to the place we wore sleeping in. We had to make are beds Then Naia change beds with Lola. Then we had dinner. we had narcos for dinner. we finished are narcos and we all got a ice block. We had a show. when we finished are show we got ready for bed me and Naia wore right next to Neve and Josie and Ella. Me and Naia went to bed fast. In the morning we ran around the cort. When we wore finished we had breakfast. Then we had the atives to do. When we was finished we had lunch. Then we got are bags and went on the bus to school.THE END 😇

This term koka Rozie is room 4s teacher she reads us a book called mr fox.Mr fox is about a fox that has a wife and kids.There are three framers called Bean,Bunce and Boggis.all the framers want to kill mr fox because mr fox takes the three framers food. I made art about mr fox.Here is my art I made and this is my first time doing a blog.I found it challenging to make a badger because I do not know what a badger looks like.I know I was succesful because I did everything that the book said.

Hi. this term room 4 has been learning about are Hauora.I have made my hauora art.

 my Taha Tinana is getting fit,eating healthy food,sleeping and drinking water.my Taha Wairua is unicorns,Easter bunny,tooth fairy and santa.my Taha Hinengaro is math,kindness,being happy and reading.my Taha whanau is friends,mum,dad,pets,family,Grandad and Nana.

Today the 28.8.2019  we did a science experiment and it was cool and bad at the same time.Here are the stuff we needed...

I have a 3 more people in my group they are Kale,a
 Alice and Rio.We had a to put the stuff in at put Alice went first then Rio then Kale,a and me.When we had put all the stuff in we taste it first it was nice then it went sour and it went to foam  in my mouth.It went as big as a tennis ball and it was orange.It was like fire in my mouth it burnt my mouth.The flavour was got but not the feel of it.Then we put the stuff away and went to school singing.

cross country

           Cross country     

Kia ora, WBS went to cross country. I had to walk with a buddy because I am in Nui and because the teacher shouted out little kids go with big kids!  We had to walk there I was at the roadside and all of the big kids have to go to the roadside.  When I got there, year sixes went to run first.  The teacher shouted out year sixes go to the starting line.  

I had to run last because year fours were last.  Tallulah why do we have to run last I moaned.  Me and Tallulah are in the same house, Manaia.  In the morning my sister said I do not want to go to cross country because I am not fast like the other girls moaned Jade.  When it was year fours turn to run the teacher shouted year fours go to the starting line.  Every cross country me and Tallulah go together and run together until cross country is finished.  

At the end of my run for cross country the teacher shouted year fours have a little something to eat for 1 minute. I had something to eat.  And then we went off to walk back to WBS.
